Hi Pame, Please tell us a bit about yourself
I am Pame, a wife and a mother of 3 adorable humans. CEO of my own fashion business. Hiya, I am Pame from Ontario, Canada.
When were you Diagnosed with Psoriasis?
2017 I was diagnosed with Psoriasis. At that time, I didn´t know anything about this condition and was very scared, sad, and depress and lost my self-confidence. I mainly have it on my legs. My way of putting things is I have been to hell and back out. I feel like my body was on fire, the worst part of my life.
I was on medication for a year and then took myself off medication. In June 2018, and have been off medication till 7 June 2020. Sadly I lost my father in March, and the stress kicked in and kicked me down – I was on the pills for five weeks and came back off, at the moment I am not on medication.
I do lots of research myself, always reading to fight this condition and do heal naturally. This condition makes me fight every day in my life to be healthy and strong. Since I found out I had Psoriasis, I lost 30 and had surgery, which was successful, and I healed well.
I believe eating healthy is the key to keep to fighting this battle and to know what to eat so that it can digest easier, and so your body doesn’t have to work as hard as when eating unhealthy food.
What do you think caused it?
That’s a tough question to answer, which I will pass for now…
What Foods do you Avoid?
Nightshade vegetable – sugar/ anything with sweet / JUNK FOOD/ things with flour, in the process of cutting out meat.
What Foods do you Eat to Heal?
I do juice, its easier to digest and the body doesn’t have to work so hard to break it down. At the same time, I add apple cider vinegar and turmeric powder – this is daily intake. I also eat lots of vegetable seafood – I also take my vitamins.
Let’s talk Breakfast
Well, I don’t really have breakfast. The first thing I do when I wake up is working out daily for 40 to 60 mins, then I take a break and have a glass of green juice. Then, around lunchtime, I have steam kale, two eggs for my protein, and some bake mean with some fruit – everything in a small amount.
Name your top 3 Triggers
Eat a small amount, eat smart, and healthy
Workout daily; you need to be on the light side so you can be active and help yourself live a decent life, don’t let the condition define you… Read, sing, dance, make yourself happy no one else will. Stay positive, and most of all, be with people who support you.
What would you tell those who are newly diagnosed and looking for answers?
Stay positive, do lots of research on the net … try to heal the natural way. I am sure one day we will find a cure, so stay positive
